The 8th China International Pipeline Conference (ClPC) Officially Launches its Call for Papers

This CIPC session calls for articles from researchers and practitioners of Chinese and foreign enterprises (institutions), scientific research institutes and universities involved in design, engineering, construction, operation management, technical services, and manufacturing in the field of oil and gas storage and transportation, to share industry development information and exchange academic and technological achievements and experience. Submissions should revolve round the conference topics and must be unpublished works from official journals or conferences in China and other countries and regions.
(I) Paper requirements
All papers must be submitted in Microsoft Word format and all illustrations must be vector diagrams or high-definition images and packaged into a separate file.
1. Abstract: The abstracts must consist of four elements, i.e., objective, methods, results and conclusion. For papers written in Chinese, an abstract in English is required. For papers written in English, only the English abstract is required. An English abstract should not be less than 500 words, while a Chinese abstract should contain at least 500 characters.
2. A brief introduction of the first author should be submitted both in Chinese and English (including the name, organization, title, academic degree, date of graduation, university/college and major, address, e-mail, phone and current research field).
3. Only unpublished manuscripts are acceptable. Please do not submit your
manuscripts to more than one journal at the same time. The papers should be proactive, innovative, practical and instructive, and papers unrelated to the oil and gas pipeline industry will be rejected. Authors are recommended to keep a copy of their manuscripts, as submissions will not be returned.
4. The papers should consist of 4 parts, i.e., introduction (research background and objective), technical solutions and research methods (solutions and methods), results and effects (research outcomes and application effects), and conclusion (findings and conclusions).
5. All papers will go through plagiarism check, and manuscripts with a repetition rate of more than 15% will be rejected.
6. The authors should be solely responsible for the viewpoints, results and consequences of their papers. All papers should go through political, confidential and copyright reviews by the authors’ organizations before submission.
7. CIPC has the right to review and modify the manuscripts submitted in accordance with the publication requirements, and own the copyright of papers accepted after obtaining the author's authorization.
(II) Paper acceptance and rewards
1. Paper publication: Papers approved by the academic committee will be included in the Proceedings of China International Pipeline Conference (CIPC) and formally published by the Petroleum Industry Press.
2. Selection of excellent papers: Authors of papers considered to hold industry representativeness will be invited to make a presentation at the conference; authors of excellent papers will receive a certificate (the first, second, and third prizes) during the event. Moreover, excellent papers will be formally published on Oil & Gas Storage and Transportation.
3. Paper retrieval: excellent papers will be recommended to SCI for indexing, and other papers will be indexed by CNKI.

1. Abstracts: August 31, 2024;
2. Full paper: December 31, 2024;
